Unlike the harsh look of brow tattooing of the past, this semi-permanent technique looks completely natural because it mimics the look of real brow hairs and can transform sparse brows in to perfectly symmetrical plush brows that elegantly frame the face.
A metal hand tool with needles are used to create hair-like strokes. Pigment used is hypo-allergenic and is implanted in the skin and will last any where from 1-2 years depending on after care and skin types.
Will it hurt?
Anesthetic is applied to decrease any pain or discomfort during the procedure. A little tenderness and minimal swelling is to be expected after the procedure. No social events for a day is recommended, but not necessary.
How long will it take for the procedure?
The procedure can take anywhere from 2-3 hours. We allow optimal time for making adjustments, so each client is completely satisfied with their brows before leaving. One touch up procedure is required, which is usually 1-2 hours (included with your first session price).
What can I do to prepare for the procedure?
Any tweezing, tinting, or waxing should be done at least 48 hours before the procedure. Though clean up and shaping are included in your session.
Do not take any Vitamin E, Aspirin, Niacin, Ibuprofen, pain medication, or fish oil supplements 48 hours prior to the procedure.
No drinking alcohol at least 72 hours before hand.
No tanning/sun exposure at least 2 weeks prior to procedure. If you show up for your appointment with a new tan or sunburn, you will need to reschedule and will forfeit your deposit. As your skin exfoliates from a sunburn, it will take the pigment with it.
If possible, please refrain from wearing contact lenses during the procedure.
Consult with your doctor for any specific concerns such as recent surgery, or current medications, particularly blood thinners.
If you have been on prescription Accutane in the past, you MUST wait at least one year before considering this procedure.
