After care is VERY IMPORTANT for creating beautiful, lasting results!
DO NOT touch your brows for 24 hours after procedure!
You may apply ice packs to aid in swelling or bruising. DO NOT take any ibuprofen afterwards! Tylenol is recommended for pain relief.
After 24 hours, you may gently cleanse your brows with a mild children's soap. Move in the direction of the hair growth, without forcing the skin. DO NOT use any harsh cleansers or exfoliants after the procedure.
Apply treatment cream to the brows 2-3 times per day or whenever the area feels dry.
Try to keep your brows dry for the first week! When you shower, apply vaseline over the brow, to protect it from getting wet. Gently wipe it away after showering, using a clean cotton pad for EACH brow. Then DAB your skin dry.
During your healing, you may have some scabbing. DO NOT PEEL OFF OR PICK ANY SCABS! Doing so will remove the pigment with the skin! The best option is to apply your treatment cream to minimize any scabbing.
Normal activity can be resumed after the procedure, but exercise or activities that cause you to sweat a lot should be avoided for 5 days.
DO NOT go in to the sun or tanning bed for one month afterwards. If you must go out, use sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses.
NO swimming pools or saunas for one week after procedure.
DO NOT apply makeup to the brow area for 2 weeks!
DO NOT tint brows, wax, tweeze, or get laser treatments for 1 week!
FAILURE TO FOLLOW AFTER CARE MAY RESULT IN INFECTIONS, PIGMENT LOSS, OR DISCOLORATION!!!
COLOR CHANGES/LOSS:
Sometimes color will seem to disappear during the healing process. It can reappear after healing and if not, then those concerns can be addressed during your touch up appointment. Healing can take anywhere from minimum of 4-6 weeks or more depending on your skin and age.
